Old Fashioned Johnnycake -Johnny Cake Recipe

Old Fashioned Johnnycake Recipe

This recipe makes a 10" iron skillet or round pan
You can double the recipe for a larger pan.

1 Cup plain or yellow cornmeal
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 Cups cream style corn
1/4 Cup veg oil
1 Cup sour cream

In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together
then add wet ingredients.
Mix well.

Pour batter in your well greased pan and
bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
